Partnership Opportunities

Supporting Community Partners:

(for Churches, Corporations and Civic Groups)

The Green Chair Project needs the support of local churches, congregations and organizations to help sustain the project and keep it available for those who need it most in our community.  There are 3 commitments that we ask our Community Partners to support:

1) On-going financial support to help underwrite the project and keep the program affordable for those we serve

2) Furnishings donations are essential to meet the constant demand for those we serve.  Organizing furnishings drives within your organization and reminding about donation opportunities helps keep our inventory filled with choices and selections to meet the clients' needs.

3) As a volunteeer-driven organization, we rely on our community partners to provide volunteer support by letting your members know about the wide variety of hands-on opportunities to serve that the Green Chair has available.  From teenagers, to retirees, men and women, there are fun and interesting jobs that make a difference!

Referring Project Partners:

(Non-profits and agencies which may refer clients to us)

The Green Chair Project partners with non-profit agencies that are helping provide their participants with the education and assistance that they might need to promote their self-sufficiency.  A safe and comfortable home, combined with a stable job to support a self-sufficient lifestyle, are values that we want to help encourage by providing the opportunity for them to furnish their homes comfortably and economically.

A referral from one of our approved Project Partners is required in order to participate in our program. No self-referrals nor referrals from unapproved partners will be processed. If your organization would like to find out more about becoming a Green Chair Project Partner, please contact us with a brief description of your agency's mission, program and needs so we can explore the best partnership options to fit your organization's needs.
